Jeremiah Vs. Ads by Google
So, I put in a post about the president being a fart and I guess because I named the most-powerful-governor-of-Texas-ever it still kept my Ads by Goofle as right-leaning links. But I like the title of the fart post so I'll keep it. Maybe this posting will help put some fart-based ads up there. Then I threw some left-leaning links up in the sidebar: Moveon.org, MichealMoore.com, Truthout.org, the usual. No luck. I still have ads telling me how to get hotel rooms in NYC for the elephant meeting.
I don't think I have any problems with the pary of Lincoln in principle. Individual liberties, state rights, fiscal responsibility... these are all fine principles. However I believ the current party has strayed away from these and been associated with such liberty-inhibiting philosophies such as family values, siding with corporate monarchies which cripple smaller businesses, the pre-emptive dsctrine, and that big eye in everyone's business the Patriot Act. While the Good Old Par-tay has embraced these aberrations I don't believe it's what the party's based on.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a registered democrat and I'd say my politics swing from liberally liberal to libertarian. I'm just saying as I get older I'm trying to open my eyes and see what the different parties offer. And this current president who increases spending, cuts taxes, limits the constitution, aids an environment which allows greedy corporations to bloat up the market, and strengthens relations with the government of Saudi Arabia--a totalitarian regime--I don't think he is much of a r-e-p-u-b-l-i-c-a-n.
If it's Sunday, it's Meet the Press.
